Enhancement ABC080: Line Descriptions Wrap Around for Sales Orders and Invoices.
The Navision standard layout of Sales Orders and Sales Invoices prints a blank line under each sales line entered.
This enhancement removes the blank lines and wraps the text without truncating any part of it:
- If descriptions 1 or 2 do not use more than one line, the enhancement generates only one line and continues to the next line item without producing a second blank line.
- If descriptions 1 or 2 need to extend to a 2nd or 3rd line, the system will wrap the next set of lines as needed to get the entire text description to appear.
- This enhancement is written to avoid splitting a word in two or truncating it.
It allows for saving paper and ink, time for mailing or faxing the invoices, reduced postage cost, and for providing better service to your customers.
