This enhancement enables the user to select an option in the Inventory Setup card to allow for automatic creation of certain location records upon entry of a new item into inventory.
Upon activating the field "Auto Creation Location" in the Location tab of the Inventory Setup Card, the system will create the Item/Location Card(s) with selected field(s) defaulting from the parent Item.
In the Inventory Setup screen the user can now enable a new field called "Auto Create Location" to automatically create a set of new Item/Location records when an item is added to inventory:

This enhancement also has a new field called "Create Location" in the Warehouse tab of the Location card. A checkmark in this field tells the system to add a record for this location for every new item created in the system:

The user is now able to create a new item and let the system create the required location records. Especially with many locations, this enhancement saves a lot of time for the user. In the following example, the user created a new item number 70062. The system automatically created four location records:
