
Enhancement ABC120: Item Labels.
This feature allows you to generate item labels using a label printer. The length has been set to a standard label of 2" X 4" using continuous label rolls. This new functionality can be found in the following areas:
- Item Card Screen: Click the new Label button and a pop up window will ask you how many labels you wish to generate.
- Sales Order Screen: Click the Function button and then the new Label button. The system will generate the "Quantity to Ship" number of labels on the line your cursor is currently on.
- Purchase Order Screen: Click the Function button and then the new Label button. The system will generate the "Quantity to Receive" number of labels on the line your cursor is currently on.
- Posted Sales Invoice: Click the Function button and then the new Label button. The system will generate the "Quantity" number of
labels on the line your cursor is currently on.
- Posted Purchase Invoice: Click the Function button and then the new Label button. The system will generate the "Quantity" number of labels on the line your cursor is currently on.
The Item Card area has been enhanced to accommodate a new set of features:
The option screen will display a selection section for Item, Sales and Purchases:
You are able to generate labels from different areas in your organization such as:
- Do a physical inventory and print the quantity of labels needed for those items in the Item Card.
- When new purchase order items are received, generate the labels from the Purchase Order screen.
- When Saled Order items are ready to be shipped, generate the labels from the Sales Order screen.
- You may need to print labels with bar codes for Cartons, Boxes or Warehouse Locations. Print as many labels as you need from the Item card.
This enhancement allows for labels to be printed from differnet applications. Also, you can now easily designate what will appear on
each label, such as the Item Number, Description, and Bar Code.
