Your customer requires an item number that is 30 characters long, 35?, 40? - No Problem.
This is a service provided by ABCSI to US & Canadian Navision
Solution Centers for their Attain customers.
ABCSI will extend the Item Number to whatever is required by your customer. This service is available for Attain 3.10A, 3.10B, and 3.60 (when it is released). All required tables, codeunits, and related functions & variables, will be modified to accommodate the new Item Number length. Enlarging the Item number field on Forms and Reports can be done for additional charge (will probably be done by the NSC).
The NSC will send to ABCSI the customer's database before any modifications are performed by the NSC. ABCSI will extend the Item Number, test all applications, and will return the Database to the NSC within two weeks for further testing.

The Item Number in the following example has been extended from 20 AN to 35 AN (Attain 3.10B):
The 10% Maintenance Fee is not required for this enhancement, as the whole process will have to be re-run on future releases, and will be charged accordingly.
