ATLANTA - February 5, 2001 - NavisionDamgaard US Prepares for “Dawn of Dominance”
Leading Worldwide Software Developer Celebrates New Name, Focuses on Future Opportunities.
NavisionDamgaard, a leading global provider of integrated, end-to-end business solutions for the mid-sized market, announced record sales growth and unprecedented competitive opportunities following the recent merger between Navision Software and Damgaard Software in November 2000.
Randy Keith, president of the newly joined NavisionDamgaard US spoke to Damgaard resellers from across the country at the annual North American partner conference, Compass 2001, held in Atlanta last week.
“Today marks the dawn of a new era,” said Keith. “The NavisionDamgaard US era joins two similar companies, Navision and Damgaard, merged with a single goal in mind—to become the leading mid-market provider of enterprise business solutions across the country.”
Throughout the two-day conference, Keith and the NavisionDamgaard leadership team focused on the competitive positioning of the recently united company and how that culture will continue to reflect a passion for quality, performance, and efficiency. Keith commended Damgaard’s dedicated channel of resellers for their efforts in contributing to Damgaard Axapta’s 140 percent revenue growth over last year.
“With this positive momentum, and the fusion of our channel of partners and resellers, NavisionDamgaard is well positioned to dominate the mid-market,” said Keith.
Regional Vice President for NavisionDamgaard a/s, John Frederiksen, addressed the vision and goals for NavisionDamgaard a/s, the parent company located in Copenhagen, Denmark.
“With more than 120,000 customers and 2,000 business partners, we are now the world’s largest integrated enterprise solution provider for the mid-market,” said Frederiksen. “That is a very powerful statement and one that our unified channel needs to hear.”
Carlton Collins, president of K2 Enterprises and a nationally-renowned speaker on enterprise solutions, also spoke at Compass. Collins presented case studies stressing the importance of marketing in today’s competitive market.
The next annual reseller meeting, to be held in Atlanta in September 2001, will include resellers of both Navision products and Damgaard products.
