- A. B. Computer Systems, Inc. has been selected by Davis Aircraft Products Co., Inc. to implement Microsoft® Business Solutions-Navision and to provide all related implementation, consulting and support services.
Since 1950, Davis Aircraft Products, a Bohemia based company, has been designing and manufacturing safety ty-down and cargo control products for the commercial, military, industrial and service industries. In addition to providing products for standard applications, the company also manufactures custom designed and engineered products, and has been the leader in supplying the aircraft industry with lap belt and harness restraint systems.
In order to better serve its customers, the company uses the latest computer technology for production scheduling and engineering applications. Stringent manufacturing control procedures have been established and are strictly applied to assure premium quality and customer satisfaction. From original drawing board concept to final installation, every Davis product receives the benefit of the company's experience in research, design, engineering and manufacturing.
With the recent growth at Davis Aircraft Products, there was a requirement for a new integrated Accounting, Manufacturing and Distribution system, that is more flexible, functional, and easy to use. The new system will enable the company's employees to be more productive and efficient, and will allow for future growth and higher profitability.
The following Microsoft Business Solutions-Navision modules will be implemented: Sales Orders, Invoicing, CRM, Inventory, Manufacturing, Purchase Orders, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger. ABCSI will provide the software and all installation, integration, training, consulting, project management, programming and testing services.
