Atlanta, GA - December 3, 2001 - Navision to be Microsoft’s First Global Gold Partner
Navision first to earn new Microsoft accreditation
Navision a/s, the leading global provider of cost-effective and adaptable integrated business solutions, announced today that it is the first independent software vendor to achieve the newly announced accreditation as Microsoft Global Gold Certified Partner for Software Products.
The Microsoft Global Gold Certified Partner program identifies companies that have proven their commitment and expertise in one or more specialized areas in regard to Microsoft technologies. It is also a requirement that the independent software vendors have a software product that has successfully completed the Microsoft Windows 2000 operating system certification. To achieve the new global accreditation from Microsoft, the software vendors must be approved as a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for Software Products on at least three continents and in 10 different countries worldwide.
Navision currently has 14 accredited sites in Europe, US, Australia, Southeast Asia and South Africa.
The Microsoft Global Gold Certified Partner program is a strong indication of the company’s commitment to providing its customers with best-of-breed business solutions around the world. Microsoft Gold Certified Partners are entitled to prioritized referrals, advanced technical and marketing information, elite event and marketing opportunities and exclusive Web content on the Microsoft Certified Partner restricted Web site.

The Microsoft Gold Certified Partner program has been running since January 2001 and is an extension to its existing certification programs, of which potential Microsoft partners must qualify before entering Gold status. The global extension was made available to partners in September.
