important improvements such as the new Navision Employee Portal. This new tool is an integrated intranet solution with a browser front-end. Employees, such as salespeople or purchasers, who you may not need to be set up as users, but still sometimes need access to important information in the system, can now get quick updates of real-time business information such as invoices, customer data and reports. Computer Systems announced today that its customer, New Jersey based Preferred Freezer Services, purchased an upgrade to its ACCPAC Pro Series Accounting and Inventory Control Software. Preferred Freezer Services offer the most modern, state-of-the-art, full service refrigerated warehouses in the United States. The company now operates 12 facilities with over 60 million cubic feet from coast to coast and has more than 400 employees.
- August 1, 2005 - A. B. Computer Systems announced today the availability of Remote Backup Facilities for its Microsoft Business Solutions Navision and Sage Software ACCPAC Pro Series customers. Additional services such as trial restores of the backups, testing of the restored backups by processing some transactions, the creation of remote backups on DVD’s, and remote access of data during a disaster (hot-site) are also available.
Using fast and reliable servers, with battery and generator uninterrupted power supplies, and multiple and separate very fast communication lines, customers can now copy their backup files to the ABCSI servers over the Internet. All that is required are a fast connection such as T1, DSL or Cable Modem, and a browser. Customers will receive an Internet Address, a User ID, and a Password, so they can access their company’s remote backup directory at any time in a secure environment.

- June 16, 2005 - A. B. Computer Systems, Inc. (ABCSI) announced to its Navision and Pro Series customers today that as a token of appreciation for their business, one employee from each company is invited to participate in Microsoft Office 2003 Free Training Sessions. The ABCSI Microsoft Office trainer has many years of experience and is an instructor on a wide range of software applications. She holds a Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification, a Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) Project Plus certification, and a New York State Teaching license as an instructor for Computer Applications. The sessions will be held in July at our Melville, Midtown Manhattan, and Saddle Brook locations.

- February 4, 2005 - A. B. Computer Systems announced today that its customer, Iron Horse Bicycle Company, successfully upgraded to the ACCPAC Pro Series Release 7.3 business software. Iron Horse Bicycle Company is a manufacturer with a worldwide distribution network of independent dealers and sporting goods stores. - November 8, 2004 - A. B. Computer Systems announced today that it has been selected by Reilly WoodWorks to provide additional Microsoft Business Solutions Navision services, such as Project Management, Consulting, Training, and Programming.
Operating out of a 125,000 square foot facility in Calverton, Reilly WoodWorks employs 115 individuals including project managers, engineers, draftsmen, woodworkers, cabinetmakers, and administrative staff. - September 10, 2004 - A. B. Computer Systems announced today the availability of version 7.3 of the award-winning ACCPAC Pro Series accounting system. In a press release, Best Software said that over 200 new features and enhancements have been added throughout the entire suite, and it represents the biggest upgrade in the product line’s history. Computer Systems announced today that it has been certified by ExpandIT Solutions, and is now authorized to sell and implement its Microsoft Business Solutions Navision software add-ons. Products include the ExpandIT Mobile Client that allows companies to bring contact details from their Navision system to the palm of their salespeople, and also allow the salespeople to enter orders and check inventory remotely using hand-held devices; ExpandIT Mobile Time, where a consultant can report time spent on projects defined on the back-end and approve time registrations from team members; and ExpandIT Mobile Field Service, where a service representative can take ownership of an issue created on the back-end and report time, materials spent, and status on the issue.
- August 18, 2004 - A. B. Computer Systems, a certified reseller of the ACCPAC Pro Series ERP software product, announced today the availability of ACCPAC FAXserve Release 7.0. FAXserve is part of the ACCPAC Messenger Series of unified messaging applications that includes fax management, voice messaging, and wireless messaging components. The new release includes significant usability enhancements, improved administration features, and more cost saving options for e-mail-based fax management.
ACCPAC FAXserve enables users to send and receive fax documents through their company network infrastructure rather than relying on cumbersome local fax machines. FAXserve includes such features as fax retrieval, imaging and annotation, and also gives users the option to use either fax hardware or hosted Internet-based faxing. An e-mail integration option is available to extend the e-mail inbox to include fax.

- April 16, 2004 - A. B. Computer Systems, Inc. (ABCSI) announced today that its customer, Para Laboratories, Inc., successfully upgraded its Microsoft Business Solutions Navision software from release 2.50 to release 3.60. The upgrade was processed by ABCSI consultants and developers last weekend, and included many applications, such as Sales Order Entry, Inventory, AR, AP, GL, Purchasing, and EDI. Computer Systems announced today that it won contracts from two companies to conduct Detailed Needs Analysis Studies in preparation for the implementation of the Microsoft Business Solutions Navision ERP Software. One company was established 57 years ago and is one of the biggest privately-held Fluid Power Manufacturers in the U.S.A. The other company was established 65 years ago and is dedicated to developing and distributing Quality Specialty Foods.
