TIW developed the WorkShop Factory Management System for discrete manufacturers who are order driven and require an affordable, complete solution
that can be customized for the special needs of their business. WorkShop is
unsurpassed in the range of features and flexibility it offers while
maintaining the performance and reliability needed by manufacturers.

WorkShop is designed for small to midsize companies. It has a broad range and depth of features that make it extremely appealing to a wide variety of businesses. Since day-to-day processes are the most important to running your company, the design of WorkShop has focused on making them as easy as possible.
WorkShop includes all the functionality that you might expect in a sophisticated manufacturing package. What you might not expect are the carefully designed "extras" that make WorkShop work in your business. |
|
WorkShop consists of seven modules: Order, Route, Machine, Schedule, BOM, Plan, and Cost. The modules can be combined in different ways to meet the needs of small and mid-size manufacturers.
WorkShop is written in Microsoft Visual FoxPro, a powerful 4GL Xbase open architecture language. TIW decided on this platform in order to provide its customers with a manufacturing package that can be customized for individual operating requirements. In addition to the user definable capabilities, WorkShop provides an environment that supports extensions and modifications. Using the optional WorkShop Developers Kit, the more sophisticated user or VAR can modify the screens, change the menu structure, add applications, change reports and interface with the WorkShop databases.
